November 27th, 2008 Posted in NBA basketball newsBucks center Andrew Bogut out with bruised knee. Bucks center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined for a week to 10 days after sustaining a bone bruise to his left knee Monday night in a loss at Orlando.
The announcement from Milwaukee general manager John Hammond said the injury was revealed in an MRI taken Tuesday in Atlanta, where the Bucks play the Hawks on Wednesday night.
Bogut, who left Monday night’s game in the third quarter after getting hurt, is averaging 11.4 points and 10.9 rebounds in 16 games this season.

Heat F Dorell Wright has surgery on left knee.
Heat forward Dorell Wright was expected to miss at least three weeks after having surgery Tuesday to remove debris from his left knee.
Wright has played only one game for Miami since he tore his left meniscus on March 2 and had surgery the following day. He has battled pain and swelling in the knee since the Heat opened camp in late September.
Wright was expected to be able to resume on-court training in three weeks.
The fifth-year player has appeared in 134 games for the Heat, averaging 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds, and was part of Miami’s team that won the NBA title in 2006.
