Accredit wins Big As Parlay Me Stakes
December 12th, 2008 Posted in Horse Racing newsAccredit remained unbeaten in four races on wet tracks, taking a 2 1/2 -length victory over Palmers Approach in the $69,100 Parlay Me Stakes for 3-year-olds in the slop at Aqueduct on Thursday.
Accredit covered the six furlongs in 1:11.41. He is winless in his other seven starts on fast tracks.
Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and ridden by Alan Garcia, Accredit paid $5.50, $3.90 and $3.20. Palmers Approach returned $7.10 and $4.20. Dubai Distinction earned $5.20 to show.
After taking a bump at the break, Accredit bounded to the front and led by 4 lengths at the top of the stretch.
