NBA:Why is Derrick Rose acting like he’s about to do something

May 2nd, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

He was hiding behind Boozer talking crap to Evan Turner. I bet E. Turner would light up Derrick Rose.
What are you talking about LOL?
That has nothing do to with this question, gtfo.
Am I LeBron James? No, so shut the f*ck up. LeBron doesn’t even start fights anyways.

Well Derrick said if Lebron won’t do anything this year maybe I will.

I’m talking about 6 unsuccessful play off runs by James, acting like he would do something with the Cavs. Exactly why he went to the Miami Heat.

Evan Turner would have his spaceship com down and beam Derrick Rose up to his home planet.

ET phone home

Haha, I saw that. I think he was just taunting more than anything.

Turner would rock Rose. At least LeBron knows he’s a pussy boy and picks on guys like John Lucas, who can’t beat him up.

Yet LeBron only gets in the face of players a foot shorter than he is, (i.e. John Lucas)

EDIT: The point is that a LeBron fan shouldn’t talk about another player “acting like he’s about to do something” when LeBron is the puss boy that he is.

bc Evan turner is a fake guy acting tough, all Derrick rose said was “youngest MVP Bitch!!” “yea”

Lebron when were u a heat fan? Don’t lie and say “2007″ or “before Lebron came” we know ur a bandwagoner

u just mad cause Rose is styling on u

Lol that has nothing to do with the question… Its not like u dont do the same thing fkn hypocrite

Out for playoffs now

Betting On Hawks Celtics Predictions – Returning Rondo Ignites Boston Attack In Game 3

May 2nd, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

Boston’s sports betting odds revolved around their point guard, who lost his head in Game 1 and was suspended for the second game in Atlanta, but he’ll return to the lineup and steal the show on Friday night as the Celtics come home and pick up a hard-earned win over the Hawks.

What: NBA Betting
When: Friday, May 4th, 7:30 PM ET
Where: TD Banknorth Garden, Boston, MA
Pick: Boston Celtics

Why Bet On Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks managed to escape Game 1 with an 83-74 win at home thanks to a 31-18 lead after the first quarter and Atlanta just held on after that. Josh Smith was the main man with a 22-point, 18-board performance as the Hawks are still without Al Horford, who is just getting back to practicing after missing more than three months with a pectoral injury, while Jeff Teague had 15 points and Kirk Hinrich came up with 12 huge points, hitting four of his six three-point attempts. This made up for a tough night for Joe Johnson, who had 11 points on 3-of-15 shooting and he missed all nine of his three-point attempts. Johnson isn’t going to have nights like this all the time, but he managed to contribute in other ways, which is encouraging to Atlanta fans. However, the Hawks are going to need his scoring in this series because Smith is still inconsistent in that aspect, and he has to go against Kevin Garnett.

But Atlanta played excellent defense against the Celtics and frustrated them all night long, and they’ll need an effort like that in a hostile environment in Boston. The Hawks aren’t an offensive juggernaut by any means and that especially holds true when Johnson struggles from the field as he did in Game 1, but they need to keep up the defensive intensity because they know the Celtics are going to bring it. If they can win Game 2 on Tuesday night, that would really put Boston on the back foot heading home.

Why Bet On Boston Celtics

However, NBA betting sharps know that Boston is an experienced team that got out of the gate slowly in Game 1, and the suspension of Rajon Rondo, much like a coach getting a technical or even getting kicked out of the game, seemed to spark them in the waning moments of Game 1. Rondo’s two-game suspension for throwing a ball earlier in the season probably came into play in terms of this incident and he’s probably fortunate to get off with only a game. The mercurial point guard had 20 points, 11 assists and four steals before bumping into referee Mark Davis and whether it was intentional or not, Rondo has to be smarter because now, the Celtics may go into Game 2 without Rondo or the injured Ray Allen, who will try to go in Game 2. Garnett had 20 points and 12 rebounds, but Paul Pierce was just 5-of-19 from the field and he missed all six of his long-range attempts to offset Johnson’s awful night. As a team, the Celtics missed all 11 of their treys and that is where they miss Allen, who has hit the most three-pointers in NBA history. Their ability to hit from the perimeter opens up the inside for Rondo to drive and dish, as well as for Garnett to take advantage of a smaller Atlanta team without Horford in the middle.

Boston looked lethargic in the first 12 minutes and that is what lost them the first game of the series, and you can bet that they’re going to come out with more fire in Game 2 in Atlanta on Tuesday, and definitely in Boston for Game 3. This is an experienced team that knows what they’re doing and the suspension of Rondo for the second game of the series can only serve as a lightning rod for the Celtics, who didn’t even sweat finishing in fifth and giving up home court to the Hawks. But in Game 3, protecting their home court is absolutely imperative with Rondo back on the floor.

How It Will Play Out

Boston will be the NBA betting favorites at the new Garden, where they’ve won three of their last five against the Hawks, and this game should be all about one man: Rajon Rondo. He is the most important player in the series because he gives some energy to the Celtics’ old legs and when he is at their best, Boston is incredibly tough to beat.

Rondo is also the type of player who has his best games when his back is against the wall or he is being criticized; when it was reported that the Celtics were shopping Rondo before the trade deadline, he responded with a triple-double. Look for that sort of performance on Friday night and take the Celtics for a victory in your online betting book.

Hawks Celtics Betting Pick: Boston Celtics

Bulls 76ers Betting Tips – Bulls, Without Their Superstar, Try To Move Forward

May 2nd, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

The Chicago Bulls are still in a psychologically wounded state, but will their frame of mind be damaged enough to cost them in their first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers?

East First Round, Game 3: Chicago Bulls @ Philadelphia 76ers – Friday, May 4
Sports betting line: No line

Why Chicago Will Win

Anyone examining this contest will calmly point out that that your bet on sports – whenever you choose to make one – should be grounded in a sense of the whole picture, not just a snapshot of it. The Chicago Bulls should no longer be seen as a favorite or co-favorite in the Eastern Conference playoffs now that Derrick Rose is out for the rest of a season with a torn ACL. That much is definitely true. However, should the Bulls brush with major adversity mean that they should be seen as an underdog against the Philadelphia 76ers? Hardly. Philadelphia led the Atlantic Division for much of the season but then lost momentum, energy and belief over the past month and a half, sliding all the way to eighth place in the East.

Philadelphia is a wayward team without proven leadership and mature take-charge players who can answer the bell in pressure-cooker situations. Philadelphias Evan Turner openly questioned the Bulls and their level of quality before the series, insisting that the 76ers had gained the more favorable matchup compared to the New York Knicks, who had to face the Miami Heat in the first round.

Turner never should have made such a comment, for a number of very good reasons. First, he shouldnt have riled up the Bulls, a team that – in pursuit of a championship – is always looking for an extra ounce or two of motivation. Second, Turner does not own the personal accomplishments or credentials which would seem to justify such strong talk on his part. Philadelphia is an unwise team, and thats something that will enable Chicago to reassert its dominance in this series.

Why Philadelphia Will Win

When you do your homework and on this game, its reasonable to think that sports betting sites  are studying and, moreover, recalibrating their metrics now that Derrick Rose is out of the picture. Roses absence certainly gives Philadelphia a better chance of competing with the Bulls on even terms. Its true that Chicago is still unquestionably the favorite in this series, perhaps even enough to win this competition in a relatively convincing five-game romp. However, if one thinks that Chicago is going to win this series in five, that means Philadelphia will grab at least one game. If the Sixers are going to make any kind of push, it makes sense that theyll win one game at home, probably in Game 3. This is usually the point in a best-of-seven series when the underdog team, down by two games, makes its foremost push. The Bulls, without Rose, will probably adjust by Game 4, but in Game 3, with the Philadelphia crowd at a fever pitch, the Sixers can produce just enough defensive energy to limit Chicagos offensive output.

Who Will Win

It’s going to be a close call, but Roses absence probably does mean that Philadelphia will indeed win one game in this series. Game 3 is the most likely spot in which the Sixers will prevail.

NBA Basketball Betting Pick: Philadelphia

Pau Gasol – having a great year and under the radar
Bynum – best C in playoffs

MIAMI HEAT NBA CHAMPS 2012. TAKE TO THE BAAAAAAYNK.

Spurs, second best bench in the NBA. Miami worst bench in nba.

Bulls in the finals? Without Rose? HA!

Heat vs Thunder

Heat in 6

heat and lakers

Miami and OKC

OKC will win 7 game series

I would say Pacers vs Thunder and Thunder wins it. Bulls lost one of their best players, Heat havent been performing well, and I believe the Thunder won’t have too much of a problem. I’m rooting for the pacers right now and id like to see them win a title but i dont think it will happen.

My bet is where the BIG 3 is, which is Miami and the other one is Spurs. I place my bet in here.

I need NBA betting tips for the 2012 playoffs

April 30th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

Since I am a little newbie in betting , I want some tips about betting for the 2012 playoffs

If you wanted to hear NBA betting tips for the coming 2012 NBA playoffs, there are a lot to be found once you research online. For one, I can suggest that you play the spread on a home team where they are also the underdogs.

just bet on the heat to win the east, because the west is still wide open.

Not sure exactly what you want, but I’d be saying grizzlies win it all! They been great this whole season and killed magic and clippers. Clippers beat them bc they thought they had it wrapped up and didn’t put in an effort. Now they know they have to try the whole game and CANNOT give up NO MATTER WHAT, and they will beat them 4-1!

NBA: D Rose will be playing against Celtics or Hawks!!!

April 29th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

I believe he will I bet it won’t even be serious!!!!

I hope not bros

looks like a torn acl, most likely gone for season

Celtics or hawks? This a joke? The celtic bench lost to the hawks starters by 5. LOL.

76′ers have a legit chance at beating the bulls if derrick rose is gone.

Why you be calling me a “sick kid” Because I’m glad the 76′ers can win this series now? But now I understand you are just a bulls fan, and getting all defensive.

Im sorry hes out for the playoffs

@Rondo GOAT the Bulls destroyed the Heat without Rose

Bulls need to do what is smart and let Rose rest for the 1st round because Bulls can beat Phila without Rose.

NBA Western Conference Playoff Betting Tips – Thunder, Mavericks Highlight Opening Round Out West

April 28th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

The NBA playoffs are finally here, and while the first round isn’t always the most exciting time on the basketball calendar, the parity in the Western conference is much stronger than in the East, and that has provided sports betting fans with what is undoubtedly the most exciting matchup of the opening round on paper. The defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks overcame the upstart Oklahoma City Thunder in last year’s Western conference finals en route to their NBA title, but will now tip off against them as the underdogs in the first round. The Mavericks still have some of the veteran pedigree that helped them win the title a year ago, but this time around it’s the Thunder with more weapons to lean on, as we take a quick look at the opening round.

(1) San Antonio Spurs vs. (8) Utah Jazz

Winners of five-straight games to close out the regular season, the Jazz secured a playoff berth playing every best best sportsbook contest like it was already the postseason, and that should have them ready for the Spurs in the opening round. San Antonio was in no danger of missing out on the postseason but still won an incredible 10-straight to close out their schedule and secure home advantage throughout the playoffs. The Spurs won 28 of their 33 home games this season to tie the Miami Heat for the best home record in the NBA, and with a rejuvenated Tim Duncan and Tony Parker continuing to play at an elite level, head coach Greg Popovich’s team should have enough to at least get through the opening round, with a focus on getting the job done as quick as possible to have time to rest.

NBA Betting Pick: Spurs in Five

(2) Oklahoma City Thunder vs. (7) Dallas Mavericks

With no Tyson Chandler or JJ Barea, the Mavericks aren’t nearly as deep as they were a year ago, and MVP Dirk Nowitzki isn’t playing at the same level either. The Thunder on the other hand appear to be firing on all cylinders with Russell Westbrook emerging as a legitimate All Star and Kevin Durant an MVP candidate. The potential loss of James Harden will force Oklahoma City in to a longer series than they want, but unless Nowitzki suddenly rediscovers his 2011 playoff form the Thunder should be able to get through to the next round.

NBA Betting Pick: Thunder in Six

(3) Los Angeles Lakers vs. (6) Denver Nuggets

The Lakers  will be without Metta World Peace for the opening round, and while that makes this series more competitive than it needs to be, Denver simply has no match for Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol down low. The Nuggets made the playoffs based on their strong team play as well as the focus and determination they showed in every game, but in the end they have no match for Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles big men.

NBA Betting Pick: Lakers In Four

(4) Memphis Grizzlies vs. (5) Los Angeles Clippers

One of the most interesting best sportsbook matchups of the opening round features the high-flying Clippers against a powerful Memphis team that may be somewhat underrated heading in to the playoffs. The Grizzlies are built for the playoffs with some solid offensive depth and a defense that ranked fifth in the NBA in points allowed during the regular season. In contrast, the Clippers struggled with consistency all season despite Blake Griffin consistently making the highlight reel with his incredible dunks. Those won’t happen nearly as often in the playoffs though, as Memphis does all it can to close out the lanes.

NBA Betting Pick: Grizzlies In Six

NBA Eastern Conference Playoff Betting Predictions – East Favorites Should Move On To The Next Round

April 28th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

NBA betting players that follow the NBA are getting themselves jacked up for the playoffs after a congested regular season, and the Eastern Conference is very top-heavy. There is a sizable gap between the top four teams in the conference (you could even argue just three, excluding Indiana) and the rest, and that will be evident as the favorites have the edge to progress to the second round.

Bulls 76ers Odds

For the Bulls, it’s all about health as Derrick Rose suffered a number of ailments this season that caused him to miss time, and it’s a catch-22 because he should have fresh legs, but he’ll also be a little behind in terms of game speed, although it shouldn’t take him long to get into the swing of things. This is a meeting of two strong defensive teams as the Bulls top the league in points against, while the 76ers are third.

Philadelphia definitely cooled off in the second half of the regular season, and they’ll have to hold their own on the offensive glass, where the Bulls averaged 3.2 more boards per game than the 76ers. Chicago was 2-1 SU and ATS against the 76ers in the regular season, and they should get through the first round with minimal fuss.

Betting Edge: Chicago Bulls

Heat Knicks Odds

You may not find a better one-on-one matchup in the first round than New York’s Carmelo Anthony and Miami’s LeBron James, who have had some memorable duels in the past. Anthony put the Knicks on his back offensively down the stretch, and we all know what James, who is likely going to win his third MVP award, can do at both ends of the court. The gap in defense isn’t that great anymore as Tyson Chandler has shored up New York, and this is going to be a tougher test for the Heat than many NBA betting sharps expect.

The Heat were 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS against the Knicks this season, and unless Amare Stoudemire has the series of his life against Chris Bosh, Miami should win handily.

Betting Edge: Miami Heat

Pacers Magic Odds

This would be a much closer matchup if Dwight Howard was on the court for the Magic, even with everything that has gone on off the court between Howard and coach Stan Van Gundy, but a back injury has grounded “Superman” and now the Magic are just another team. The Pacers have been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA all season, and they’re a balanced team with five players averaging in double figures for scoring. Danny Granger is still the go-to guy in Indiana, but the Pacers can also go with Roy Hibbert, who should be able to have his way in the post against the Magic, or Paul George, who has been a revelation.

The Magic were 3-1 SU and ATS against the Pacers during the regular season, but with Howard out of the lineup (and reportedly away from the team, which is a story that will raise its head during this series), Indiana is the better team and if they can slow down the Magic’s three-point shooters, this will be a rout.

Betting Edge: Indiana Pacers

Celtics Hawks Odds

Many NBA betting fans and experts alike counted out the Celtics early in the season, but the old warriors paced themselves and romped down the stretch; they were definitely the best team in the East and probably the best in the entire league. Rajon Rondo is one of the top three point guards in the NBA, while Kevin Garnett is playing like the guy who came to Boston in 2007. This anchors a defense that is second overall in points allowed. Paul Pierce is playing at a high level and Avery Bradley has picked up the slack for a limping Ray Allen. The Hawks received a boost as Al Horford should be able to suit for the team for the first time in over three months due to a torn pectoral muscle, and they’ll need him to combat Garnett in the post because Josh Smith has been playing out of position for much of the season.

The Celtics are 2-1 SU and ATS in their three regular-season meetings with Atlanta, and unless Joe Johnson has an MVP-type series, the Hawks are going to struggle to score points against Boston, and Rondo is primed for a big series against Jeff Teague. Boston is the smart sports betting choice.

Betting Edge: Boston Celtics

Well it looks like the Bobcats are officially the worst team in NBA history +BQ

April 28th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

BQ: If you could have would you make a bet against your team beating the Bobcats for $5000

BQ: obviously

BQ: Scalabrine alone can beat any team

There will always be a * next to them because of the shortened season.

Yeah!

BQ: No I dont have 5000

They have the worst percentage not the worst record. The ‘72 76ers are the worst, they have more losses and only 2 more wins.

Yea man, I kinda feel sorry for MJ.

BQ: Absolutely

I feel bad for Kemba Walker. Oh sorry he was that college beast that nobody cares about cause his team sucks balls! -_-

Is it just me or is anyone else really pissed off at Charlotte "fans"? +BQ

April 27th, 2012 Posted in NBA betting | No Comments »

Who cares if your team has the longest losing streak ever, who cares if they also have the worst winning percentage ever, and are probably the worst NBA team of all time, you still have to be a fan.

The stadium is half full and almost all of those people are Knicks fans.

How is your team supposed to do good if YOU don’t even support them?

It just makes me sick.

BQ: How much you wanna bet Kobe’s only joking about not playing tonight just to crush Durant’s heart even more?

BQ2: If he really doesn’t play, is it because he made a deal with Durant that he would give him the Scoring Title if he lets us win in the playoffs?

(I have to get something good out of this)
I live in L.A, and was born here and therefore have loved the Lakers since I was born, before I even knew they were successful, it was ingrained in my mind by family and friends that it was LAKESHOW FOR LIFE.

If the lakers were in a similar situation, I would not stop being their fan, no matter what any of you would say.

And Ben youre probably right.

@The big O, maybe Kobe knows (as if he doesn’t already know everything about basketball) that no player who won a scoring title won a hampionship the same season, besides Jordan.

Probably superstitious and is passing on the bad luck to Durant.

I honestly wanted to see Durant lose more than Kobe win for once.

Come on, you can’t let someone 3-peat the scoring title.

Dude…who wants to see a team with 7 wins

Coming from a laker fan, who always had winning in their franchise. Do you live in los angelos or did you bandwaggon them? lol

Would you honestly pay to watch them?

I’m a laker fan all the way good is great..but I agree with BJB who wants to see a team win 7 games

If Charlotte fans are frustrated and need a break til next year, I dont blame them

BQ: Kobe is showing his team how important a championship is. He is showing them that you can’t win a championship without sacrifice. He is setting an example by sacrificing the scoring title to help his team win a ring.

BQ2: He is trying to show the team that only through self-sacrifice can you win a ring.

Im surprised there were alot of people at that game.

Lol ur a lakers fan !!!!!! LOL and ur calling Charlotte fans “fans” lmao lmao lolol hahahaha lmaooooo lololol

Durants as hungry as lebron for a championship why would he let the lakers defeat the thunder if they face off in the playoffs? No one likes to lose. Unless kobe offered him like $100 million dollars i don’t see durant just letting the lakers move on. And to ben, what are you saying. Hows not playing for a game and not competing for a scoring title helping his team win a championship?
The stupidity of some laker fans…

yeah but bobcats should win that game why because it’s your last game you can’t lose your last game especially jordan is your owner
